The mountain view from the room is absolutely breathtaking, adding to the serenity of the surroundings. The private bathroom is well-equipped with a shower and free toiletries. The room itself has a cozy tile/marble floor, giving it a charming and homely feel. The 24-hour front desk and the availability of an electric kettle in the room are additional conveniences. And let's not forget the flat-screen TV that comes with every room!

I recently stayed at Periyar Woods in Kumily and had a wonderful experience. Justin, the host, was amazing from the moment we arrived. He provided us with a long list of interesting activities to do during our stay, and his recommendations were spot on. The elephant tour he organized for us was absolutely incredible. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the view was breathtaking. Justin even upgraded us to a triple cot bed, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was delicious and the overall atmosphere felt like a home away from home. I highly recommend staying at Periyar Woods if you want an amazing host, excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, and an excellent location.

We had an amazing stay at Periyar Woods in Thekkady! The value for money was unbeatable and our room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and close to the Kathakali performance center. The staff treated us like family and made us feel right at home.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a bit more variety.

Friendly and welcoming staff

During my stay at Periyar Woods, I had a wonderful experience with the friendly and welcoming staff. They went out of their way to accommodate us and even drove us personally to the bus stop and helped us book our trip into the national park. Their kindness and helpfulness made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also had good internet connection and we even had the chance to see monkeys on our balcony. I had a great time at Periyar Woods and would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed at Periyar Woods Bed & Breakfast for five nights and had an amazing experience! Justin and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They made sure we got the most out of our time in the area. Justin even organized a jeep safari for us with an excellent guide named Joffy. Joffy was very knowledgeable and spoke great English, making the experience even better. The food was fantastic, the facilities were top-notch, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The location was also convenient, with restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. We highly recommend staying at Periyar Woods Bed & Breakfast for their first class service and friendly atmosphere.
